The Cosmic Calendar

Do you know that our universe is 13.8 billion years old. Now , if you want to know what happened through all these years it seems a bit tough to go through this much information.

To help you with this problem we have a special calendar called THE COSMIC CALENDAR.

From the very first second of the big bang to this very moment everything is in this cosmic calendar. It is a replica of timeline of 13.8 billion years of our universe compressed in a year.

Here , Every second is equal to 438 years, a minute is around 26,000 years, an hour is about 1.6 million years and a day is nearly 38 million years. Pretty exciting isn't it ?

In this article i will focus mainly on timeline of The Earth. When and how it formed. Get ready because some mind boggling facts are coming up your way. So let's buckle up and dive into the depths of the COSMOS.

Just so you know my favorite part in this calendar is the month of December where humans came into existence. We will discuss about it later in this article so keep reading to find out more.

Birth Of Our Solar System

It was until the month of September in the cosmic calendar when our solar system wasn't even born yet. In the month of September nearly 4.5 billion years ago the formation of solar system began when a part of a giant molecular cloud collapsed due to gravity. Most of the mass of the collapsed cloud was collected in the center forming the sun while rest of it kept accumulating around this heavy part creating planets and other bodies of our solar system.

Now, Let's move to my favorite part i.e.

Evolution Of Life On The Earth

*For the record you must know that first human being came into existence on 30th December in cosmic calendar which is around 65 million years ago.*

Life had started grooming on earth way before humans. On September 14th 4.1 Billion years ago the first biotic life was formed. The first molecular life was formed 0.8 billion years ago on December 5th. Few of us may already know that dinosaurs came into existence 0.23 billion years ago on 25th December. Enough about It, let's fall back to our history , The history of HUMAN EVOLUTION.

Things are going to get pretty exciting now...

*Remember that we are living in the very last second of the cosmic year.*

-> The primates and apes lived only 65 million years ago i.e. December 30th and 15 million years ago i.e. December 31st 6:05 A.M. respectively.

-> The primitive humans lived only 2.5 million years ago which is December 31st 22:24 PM.

-> Can you imagine when the agricultural activity began ?

December 31st , 23:59:32 P.M. Yes! it is when humans started cultivating crops for themselves.

-> One Thousand years ago on 23:59:58 the Maratha Empire and The Mongolian Empires were in existence.

Now, this very second of the cosmic year in which we are living i.e. 23:59:59 P.M. comprise of last 0.5 thousands years. The modern human history and our present falls into this second.

In contrast, i would say the cosmos is infinite, and we may never be able to explore it completely but we can put in our best efforts to understand the hidden secrets of cosmos which could lead us to other habitable planets and could introduce us to other forms of life.

The universe Teach us to be patient and trust the process it took 13.8 billion years from big bang to built up this very moment. So we shall never lose hope and give it our best shot when the time comes.
